A Brand New Library Concept

 Normally a library is a place where you must be quiet and if not you are shushed by the librarian.  Not at this brand new library in Vaughan.  The new Civic Centre Library is right next to city hall and has some pretty radical new concepts.  If you want to come and play music they have a sound proof room where you can have a jam session and even record your music.  The instruments are there for you to give them a try as long as you book the room.  They also have another room with a green screen where you can film a movie.  You are able to book a video camera and the green room.  You can also borrow a laptop computer or tablet that can only be used at the library.  All of this is free of charge as long as you have a library card.

 Of course you can still come here to read a book or magazine and study, but there is so much more to do at this library.  They even have a cafe and a roof top deck where you can go outside and read in the summer months when it's warm.

Neal is showing us that these chairs are very comfy and they cut down on the noise too.  So if you're looking for something to do in the Vaughan, Ontario area, why not check out the new library.  It's a fun place to visit.  Oh and your kids might enjoy a visit with the library's pet snake.  Um ya not my thing but you might enjoy it.
