Happy Canada Day 2015
Happy Canada Day to everyone. Today Neal and I decided to take a trip down to Yonge Dundas Square which is right across the street from the Eaton's Centre. We got these little paper flags and a bookmark with the national anthem on it. They had some music and dancing as well and lots of food to buy.
After we had enough of the festivities we went to walk around the Eaton's Centre. Since it's a tourist destination all of the shops were open and very busy. Neal went to his favourite store in the entire mall....the Blue Jays shop. What a great day for him to be there as the Jays were doing well and he watched a bit of the game on TV.
I found this giant burger flipper. I think I could probably flip a whole box of burgers with this one tool.
Next Neal took me to see his old school, Ryerson. They have blocked off the street next to the school and made this really nice pedestrian walkway and pond. It's really beautiful here. He also showed me where he use to go to classes as well.
Well I hope everyone had a Happy Canada Day. Now we wait for it to get dark and watch the fireworks show at the park.
