Neal and I took his parent to Corus Family and Friends Day at Neal's work. Each year they put on a really nice BBQ party. This year was no exception. They had hot dogs and hamburgers, BBQ'd corn, ice cream and drinks. They also had some fun activities for everyone to participate in.
On the right you can see the slide. Yes Neal has a slide in his office. You can go from the second floor right to the atrium.
Here we picked up some swords and pretended to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
So here we are on the set of the morning show. This is the exact set. I totally feel sorry for the newscasters because their chairs are not all that comfortable.
Here we are on the interview couch. This was far more comfortable.
Neal's parents got in on the act as well.
Neal's parents are sitting in the best seats in the house. The Muskoka chairs that they are sitting on over look Lake Ontario. There you get a prime view of storms that would be crossing the lake.
I also did a screen test to be a weather person. It was a lot of fun. The job is not as easy as one might think. It goes a lot faster than you might think and you have to react quickly and be on your toes.
One of the best parts of the afternoon was this magician. He was just walking around to the different tables doing magic. OMG he was amazing.
