Come From Away

 We went to see this amazing play called Come From Away.  It's the story of what happened when 38 planes with thousands of passengers landed in Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11.  It essentially doubled the population of Newfoundland.  Even though it's a sad topic, the spirit of Newfoundlanders came through.  They managed to make the visitors feel welcome and tend to their needs and in the process fostered some life long friendships.  It was a musical and the songs were amazing.  It's playing at the Royal Alex theatre.  The theatre was beautiful inside.  I highly recommend you see this amazing play.
