On July 17 - 19th, 2012 Neal and I went up to Blue Mountain for a kayaking trip. We had the best time. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Collingwood. The hotel itself wasn't anything to write home about but it was a place to relax at the end of the day. It had a nice pool and a free breakfast.

Here is our gondola to the top of the mountain. We went up to the top and hiked for a bit but it was really hot even at the top of the mountain.
This was the beach where we kayaked. This was an excellent beach even though it was very rocky and slippery. Below you can just make out the island that we kayaked to. There were many nesting birds that were not very happy that we were there. A few of them tried to attack Neal as we were making our way back to the kayaks.
Here is one of the most fun mini-golf courses we have ever played. If you get a hole in one on the final hole you get a free game. Neal managed to do this twice. So we played two free games. Nice going Neal!!
As we were driving home we stopped in Wasaga Beach but that was a bit of a disappointment. There really wasn't much to see and do there.
