Our Summer Project - The Shed

So after much talk we have finally replaced our old rusted, leaky shed with a bran new resin model. So early this morning we emptied the shed off all of its contents and boy were we surprised to find a mouse.  As soon as Neal said the word mouse I took off into the house and wouldn't come back out again.

The two large boxes were delivered on Monday from Canadian Tire and then the next day Mr. Hennessy from Groundworks came to demolish the old shed and build the new one.

As you can see this is what it looked like as it was being taken apart.  Then below he is building the new one.  Of course we had to pick one of the hottest day of the summer to do this.  Poor Neal and Steve nearly melted in the heat.

Things didn't exactly go as planned because as it turned out the floor was anything but level so a call went out to Angelo's Garden Centre for an emergency delivery of rock and soil.

By the time I came home from work there was still a large pile of rocks in our driveway.  I immediately started to shovel the rocks into a wheel barrow and dump them around the shed.
Thankfully within an hour all of the rocks were in the backyard.

Here we are very happy to have a brand new shed.  Thank you guys.  Great job!!!!
